All seatbelts installed are checked
for type, condition, operation and security. All compulsory
seatbelts must be in place.
Seat belts
All seatbelts fitted to the vehicle must be in a good
condition. Damage or tears (including fraying) may account for
an MOT failure. The seatbelt system is a vital part of the
vehicles safety system. It is therefore very important that
these items are taken into account when inspecting the vehicle.
